Louis XV Style Tea Table in Mahogany with Two Trays, circa 1900
About the Item
Louis XV style tea table in mahogany with two overlapped scalloped trays, each standing on four cabriole legs. Removable upper tray.
Lacquer decor with a black background and gilt Chinese motifs figuring three circles decorated with a cherry tree, peonies and birds on branches.
Chiseled and gilt bronze ornamentation on angles, shoes, apron, lingotiere and with two scalloped handles attached on the lower tray.
Work realized, circa 1900.
Dimensions: superior tray H 30 x W 64 x D 46 cm / inferior tray H 83 x W 80 x D 57 cm.
