English Vernacular Field Ash Center Table

About the Item

A fine English Cotswold School vernacular center table made of field ash, showing off the maker's skills. It features great design and craftsmanship. The timber has substantial heft, vivid graining and superb color. Shaped aprons and footed stretchers and through-tenon pegged joints. With two flaps, it is useful in a library, a breakfast room or a master bedroom with two chairs either side. A beautiful, sculptural table.
