Steel coffee table by François Monnet for Kappa - Italy - 1970s

About the Item

Coffee table in the Space Age style, made from two bent and curved stainless steel plates, crossed together to form a solid and indestructible structure, made to last. For the tabletop, a thick transparent glass plate was allocated between the claws of the Ion steel lozenges. Innovative for its time, it excellently represents the years of space achievements. Attributed to François Monnet, it was designed and produced in the 1970s in France by the Kappa company.
