19th Century Red Lacquered Chinese Low Coffee Table from Shanxi Province

A late 19th-century red lacquered Shanxi Chinese table, beautifully hand-painted with floral designs and Chinese calligraphy. It has been made with meticulous attention to detail and is structurally sound . The lacquered finish bears a wonderful, distressed patina, acquired over a century of age and use, which lends it a subtle charm that speaks of its journey through time.
