This is an antique ladies morning room desk. An English, walnut and satinwood pedestal writing table with Aesthetic Period taste, dating to the Victorian era, circa 1880. A treat of craftsmanship and visual appeal Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Select walnut to body shows fine grain interest and rich caramel hues Graced with a quality wax polish finish throughout Mahogany writing surface with a quality tooled and embossed leather skiver Arrangement of three drawers above the pedestal base, dressed with inset, working locks — key present Striking satinwood fascia, with brass drop handles for ease of access Each pedestal houses a generously sized cabinet with document slides — working locks, key present E.W.
