A MID CENTURY MASTERPIECE!
MULTIPLE WOODS!
DIMENSIONS: Approx. 16" High by 17" Wide & 17" Deep
This absolutely magnificent mid century chess table is a one-of-a-kind treasure that was handcrafted and clearly a labor of love by a skilled artisan! This table dates to 1950 and has seen much use, many games, and has a warm, golden rich finish that is simply gorgeous and pure eye candy.
The multiple woods create a spectacular contrast which was done to repeat the contrasts of the chess board itself. Even the pieces feature wonderful contrasts and hues!
Two drawers on either side of the table store the chess pieces and checkers. All are present
and in fine vintage condition! Anyone who plays chess will appreciate the 16" height of this table - perfect for geting a complete perspective of the board for the players!
This table is spectacular! Truly a work of art! It complements any space and makes a wonderful addition to a living room, family room, den, bedroom or even an office! The table is exceedingly well made and has survived almost 70 years, with still marvelous luster, residing in a Scottsdale estate!
