19th Century French Louis XV Marquetry Side Table
About the Item
A fine 19th Century French Louis XV style marquetry side table made of bookmatched veneers of rosewood and tulipwood. Elegant proportions with tall slender legs, curved sides and shaped front. Pull-out leather writing surface or book stand that may be propped up at adjustable angle. Two small dovetailed drawers on the front and one on the right side, eath with brass knobs. French polish finish. Minor losses of veneer at feet. Circa 1860-1880.
