About the Item
Classic style long French bistro or garden table with iron base and dark gray stone top by L. Buchon, France, c. 1900.
This is a fantastic table with beauty and great versatility. An excellent size for dining but may also be used as a desk, prep/work table or console. The original dark gray, nearly black stone top has pale gray veining with a nicely finished edge and is in very good condition. The shapely iron base is marked in raised lettering with the foundry, "L. Buchon St. Etienne." It has a super clean design with an open and airy form offering nice leg room. It can comfortably seat four to six people and accommodate up to eight. The top has been unfastened from the base for safe transportation and may easily be reaffixed. A beautiful table with rustic European elegance great for indoor or outdoor use.
