Simone Haret (b. 1904 France) figural study on masonite board depicting nude bathers in an aquatic landscape (river or lake).
Figures are crudely composed with blurred outlines and indistinct features against a sharply pronounced background landscape of foliage and water.
From the collection of a prominent French collector whose residences have been extensively photographed for various publications.
Purchased by aforementioned client at Fraysse et Associés in Paris in 2015.
