Original vintage travel advertising poster for Lissone Lindeman - Vliegpassages Naar Elk Land Voor Elke Luchtvaartmu / Air Passages To Any Country For Any Aviation - featuring a great illustration depicting a propeller passenger plane flying in the blue sky over the colorful flags of various airline logos - Swissair, American Airlines, ABA, Sabena, KLM, Air France, DDL, BOAC and DNL - leading down to the company name in bold blue and red lettering. In 1876 Jacob Lissone founded the first European travel agency in the Netherlands in 1876, partnering with Lindeman in the 1920s. Large size. Good condition, restored folds, restored paper losses, restored creasing, foxing, staining, backed on linen.
