Charming pair of framed ornithological bird prints made in the manner and style John Gould (English 1804-1881). The hand-colored engravings feature vivid color and lovely artwork. Each print displays two birds with foliage and descriptions. The prints are framed in giltwood with a light green matting. The frames have an aged patina with wear adding to the charm and character. Sold as a pair. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Site measures 6 inches by 7.5 inches high.
