About the Item
An Op Art serigraph print on paper titled "Harvard Target #5" by British-born artist, designer and developer Peter Gee (1932-2005). This print is comprised of matte and glossy shapes on a silver ground. Five small matte circles in neutral and neon colors overlay larger metallic foil circles. A screen printed green square envelops the powder blue square against a silver tone foil ground.
Harvard University commissioned Gee to design this series of prints for their color theory workshop taught at Harvard by Peter in the 1960s.
