About the Item

This is a rare English designer Marlene McKibbin Lucite or Acrylic bracelet bangle. This bracelet has a frosted translucent color with an open spiral design and has an orange acrylic screening ink application. Measurements: inside across is 2.75 in. wide x 2.50 in. deep (7 x 6.4 cm) - width is 0.82 in. (2 cm) - inner circumference is 8.25 in. (21 cm). It will best fit a Medium-sized wrist of 7.07 in. circumference maximum (18 cm). Reference: Please check the last two pictures. This unusual design was pictured in "Classic Plastic - From Bakelite to High-Tech" by Sylvia Katz, Thames and Husdon Editions, copyright 1984. The same bracelet is shown on page 126. The caption reads Clear acrylic rod painted with acrylic screening ink. Designed by Marlene McKibbin, England, 1983.
