About the Item
A lovable brooch with 2 birds that take care of their treasure together!
The parents of the birds sit on a branch and take care of their eggs. The bodies of the 2 birds are made of 2 polished rhinestones, the wings, head and tails and the leaves are enameled. The brooch is signed with a tiny star on the reverse side on the birds heaad.
It is a nice Collector piece, nothing missing!
Measurement:
Width of the brooch 6,5 cm /2.60" x 4,5 cm/1,77". Good condition, nothing missing, enamel is slightly rubbed due to its age.
The history of American jewelry company Fred Gray spans a short period of 1930-1940s.
Fred Gray was one of the leading designers of the famous jewelry company CORO for some period of time. Having gained invaluable experience and skil, he foundet a costume jewelry company under his name "Fred Gray Corp". Notewothy, initially Fred marked his produchts on the reverse side with the lettre "S" inside a tiny start.
