About the Item
An absolutely fantastic contemporary jade pin! This gorgeous piece, which is particularly substantial in size, is crafted in buttery 18kt yellow gold and features an oval-shaped plaque of jade which displays an ornate hand-carved floral design. The heavily carved image is of a large blooming lotus flower which is accented by soft curled leaves and delicate pierced cutouts. The stone is prong set and exhibits a luscious mottled green and white color with a varying, marbled appearance. Framing the central plaque is a wide, hammered gold frame which adorns two raspberry red ruby cabochons on either side and clusters of sparkling diamonds set in white gold prongs. The color of the jade paired with the vibrant hues of the border look absolutely stunning together. On the back of the piece is a secure pin clasp and an "18KG" gold purity mark. It's a wonderful piece and would make a lovely addition to any collection!
The pin measures approximately 2 1/2" wide, is a little more than 2" tall and 3/8" thick.
