About the Item

Brooch designed by Fred of Paris. This brooch is one of the most iconic designs by the jewelry house of Fred Of Paris. Created in Paris France back in the 1970 and crafted in the shape of a sauvage cat in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with textured finish. The cat is embellished with black spots made up from hot enamel. Fitted with a hinged pair of pin clips with a trombone security lock. Diamonds: The eyes are mounted in a pave setting, with 6 calibrated old European round brilliant cuts diamonds, with a total weight of 0.12 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-1 clarity. Emeralds: The eyes are accented, with 2 round brilliant cuts green emeralds with a total weight of 0.04 carats. Weight: 32.95 grams, (21.12 Dwt). Measurements: 60 mm by 40 mm by 18 mm (2.36 x 1.57 x 0.71 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, the maker's mark Ste. B inside a lozange cartouche, the 18kt gold assay and engraved with the signature, "FRED PARIS .750".
