Victorian Pearl and Diamond Daisy Cluster Brooch, circa 1880s
About the Item
A handmade brooch dating back to the 1880s. This delicate piece of jewellery consists of old cut diamonds and natural pearls. The centre pearl measures 6.5mm, whilst the eight in the surrounding cluster are a little smaller, each measuring 5.00mm. The diamonds have a combined weight of 4.00 carat and are estimated to be G in colour and VS to SI in clarity. All the diamonds are set within silver to add to their shine, whilst the back of the brooch and pin are made in 15 carat rose gold, a typical choice of the era.
