These gorgeous classic 1984 (stamped on inside of the earrings) pair of Tiffany & Co. "X" motif earrings are designed by Paloma Picasso, one of the most influential jewelry designers of our time. She is the youngest daughter of famous 20th-century artist Pablo Picasso and painter and writer Françoise Gilot. Paloma Picasso’s designs are aggressively chic and uncompromisingly stylish. Her signature is seen in X’s, scribbles and zigzags, all sculpted in gold. In recognition of her achievements, two American museums have acquired Ms. Picasso’s work and her collections of jewelry for Tiffany & Co. each year become more and more desired, more difficult to acquire, increasingly collectible, and higher in price. Picasso's unique choice of whimsical shapes, links and weaves, together with her unique color combinations, have earned Ms. Picasso an international reputation. Throughout her long collaboration with Tiffany, she has created many one-of-a-kind accessories and important necklaces, mounting some of the largest and finest specimens of colored gemstones in the world. These timeless elegant "X" earrings are guaranteed 100% authentic and carry the signature and stamps as seen in the picture of "Tiffany & Co.", "Paloma Picasso", and "18KT." These earrings have been verified authentic by an independent, third party, Master Graduate Gemologist. They have been appraised at a retail price of $3,900.00. The appraisal is included with the purchase upon request. These earrings have zero issues and no damage and are in 100% perfect condition as if they were purchased yesterday and show no signs of wear or use. These earrings are the large size version of the X motif by Paloma Picasso and are constructed of 18kt gold and weigh 11 grams. The original pouch they came in when purchased at Tiffany's will be included as well. The measurements for the earrings are 1 inch in height by .50 inch in width and 1/8 inch in depth. The earrings are currently clip on's but a post can be added complimentary for free if you wish. In addition, overnight, insured, domestic shipping is FREE as well as international priority express.
