1980s Deco style goldtone cabochon faux-onyx rhinestone and clear rhinestones with black enamel clip back earrings. Marked "Kenneth Lane." Measure: 1.13 inches W. Condition: Very Good; minor signs of previous wear.
Kenneth Jay Lane worked in Vogue's art department and designed shoes for Christian Dior prior to opening his costume jewelry business. He has designed jewelry for celebrities including Jacky Kenney, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Heburn, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez as well as both Princess Diana and Princess Margaret. His vintage jewelry and jewelry identical to those worn by celebrities are highly sought after by collectors.
