Bird Micromosaic Earrings

About the Item

Unique pair of antique earrings of venetian provenance dating from the 19th Century. This particular craftsmanship, also called “mosaico minuto” is completely handmade and shaped by the Italian traditional technique. What makes these mosaics rare is the subject, you will find many depictions of ancient historical landmarks but of fauna is very uncommon, birds are a very particular subject and it’s what makes them so special.
