In the early 1980's Robert Lee Morris was making dramatic earrings that caused a sensation in the fashion world. These simple graduated "Tusk" earrings, were the kind of strong but simple designs that helped define that design period. Pierced, ultra modern, sleek and futuristic, these were also pat of the architectural trend that was strong in the entire dec age of the 1980's. Very light weight, as they are made of a simple sheet of silver that is rolled into a graduated long cone, the publicity that these style generated was enormous during the 80's.
