Handwoven freshwater pearls, with green glass beads and 14k gold plated beads, and sea urchin, gold plated magnet clasp. Azua necklace brings to celebrate the natural elements and indigenous roots of the Caribbean using sea urchin, such as many tribes of the Caribbean, that would adorn themselves with fossil sea urchin as protective amulets. Azua is also a Taino name meaning, hard to tame. Azua is both bold and delicate, alluring and rooted, an undeniable statement piece to treasure.
