About the Item
A gorgeous antique, Victorian era longuard chain necklace.
This chain has a chunky tight herringbone link, it is made from gilt brass and has a nice aged golden glow.
It has a dog clip fastener to one end, perfect for hanging your favourite lockets or pendants, it is a strong chain so could safely hold larger or heavier jewellery pieces.
It is a substantial chain with a good length and thickness, long chains are such a versatile staple to add to any jewellery collection.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some links with dents and kinks visible on the images, some wear to the gilding
