About the Item
This is one of the most unique vintage Yves Saint Laurent vintage jewelry pieces we've come across! This 1980's limited edition necklace looks like chunky pieces of broken dark gunmetal grey geodes on gold plated ovals. We have seen similar style necklaces made with crystals for YSL, but this one is truly unique!
The end of the chain has a small round gold branded YSL tag and a faceted geometric sphere. If you love vintage jewelry, you should start to collect Yves Saint Laurent jewelry! Yves Saint Laurent collaborated with some of the world's finest jewelry designers and this necklace was designed by Robert Goossens. Goossens previously worked with Coco Chanel, Madame Gres and Mark Bohen for Dior. He started to work with YSL In the mid 1970's.
The length is adjustable from choker to collar length because the hook closure can be inserted into any of the chain links.
