About the Item
One of a kind Lemon Quartz and Praziolite sparkling pendant. These gorgeous gemstones come straight from our favorite vendor in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The round Lemon Quartz is 10.15 carats and the pear shaped green Praziolite is 13.35 carats. We first saw Lemon Quartz when we lived in Brazil. We knew it as ‘oro verde’ or ‘green gold.’ We like using Lemon Quartz in our jewelry because of its sparkle and durability. It’s a form of quartz that often has been heat treated to change color. It has all the colored quartz properties so it is a great, wearable gemstone. Do be careful to store Lemon quartz out of direct sunlight or intense heat to preserve its color. If you like yellow, this could be a great choice of gemstone for you! It can aid you in coming to a quicker, more confident decision. In times past it was thought to be protection in love as well as business. This lovely pendant is handmade in sterling silver and 2 inches in length.

Martha lived in Brazil for over 15 years and her travels have taken her to various mining regions within Brazil, South Africa, and the Far East to examine and handpick the gemstones for the Aria Collections. Kathy lives by the motto, "Go Big or Go Home," and fell in love with jewelry design when she met founder Hans Stern, a pioneer in designing jewelry with Brazil's vibrantly colored gemstones, Mr. Stern invited her to his workroom, shared his expertise - and she was hooked. Martha and Kathy met while living in Rio de Janeiro and they have been design partners and friends ever since.
