Antique 9k gold locket pendant, Double sided, Glasgow
About the Item
This is a truly beautiful and special locket.
What makes it special is that it is fully hallmarked with the elusive Glasgow hallmark.
Pieces with the Glasgow hallmark are always harder to find and highly sought after so to come across such a beautifully designed piece with the assay mark is truly wonderful.
It is a large sized glazed or double sided locket meaning that images may be placed inside and viewed from each side.
It has a gorgeous rich 9ct gold frame with a fancy bale and a scalloped and beaded edging.

Fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, 1915, Glasgow Assay office.
Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of age and use, light surface wear commensurate with age, minor wear to the bezel frame, some light marks beneath the glass.
