Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Ruby Pearl Blue Enamel Celestial Heart Pendant
About the Item
A superb example of Victorian workmanship in the from of a large celestial puffy heart’ set with an array of natural half seed Pearls, Ruby and a fine enamelled star.
Crafted in lush bright 18ct yellow gold, three dimensional, in fact one of the ‘deepest’ we have had the pleasure of offering, and set with 106 natural half seed Pearls, all original.
Set upon the backdrop of these beautiful Pearls is an exquisite four rayed blued enamelled star, also Pearl set, and to the centre a stunning natural oval faceted Ruby measuring approx 5.4mm x 4.3mm.
To the border we find a rope twist frame and to the verso a plain highly polished gold domed heart.
Retaining her original top bale this incredible piece of jewellery has spent little time being worn or handled.. it excellent antique condition this is a piece for the serious collector.
