Victorian 8.45ct Diamond Pendant, c.1880s
About the Item
A mesmerising collection of old cut diamonds adorn this beautiful Victorian pendant. the biggest of the diamonds is set at the centre, weighing 1.00 carat stone. Surrounding the central stone is a double halo of diamonds. The first halo comprises of eleven 0.20 carat diamonds, with the outer halo being seventeen stones of 0.30 carat. An additional two smaller stones are sat on the bail bringing the diamond total of this stunning piece to 8.45 carat. Ranging in colour from G to H and in clarity from VS to SI the quality diamonds glisten. Set into a silver face and with a back and chain of 18 carat yellow gold, the classic metal combination is synonymous with Victorian craftsmanship, of which this necklace is a wonderful example of.
