Red & Black Enamel Art Deco Powder Compact by Deere The Reich-Ash Corp 1920’s

About the Item

This beautiful compact has a stunning bright red and black enamel front, a classic Art Deco ladies combination compact in wonderful condition inside and out. At the base you will find a pretty machine pressed design in silver. A lipstick is attached to the main body by a dainty red and silver chain. There are remnants of red lipstick inside and the case is in the same matching red and black enamel with a silver base. Upon opening you will find a dark pink rouge on one side complete with an unused silk backed puff and a Deere paper insert to keep the puff clean. It reads ‘The ingredients of this package are the purest and best obtainable and guaranteed by The Reich-Ash Corp. largest manufacturers of cosmetics and novelties. New York. Paris’. On the other side you will find a pale pink rouge with an unused puff and paper insert. Both rouge’s are unused and separated by a double sided mirror, all in virtually mint condition. All mechanisms are in great working order. It is in excellent condition throughout, it opens and closes with a firm snap, a lovely piece and very good quality. Length 7cm, width 4cm, depth1cm. Lipstick 4cm high and 1.5cm in diameter
