Victorian 0.15 Carat Ruby and Diamond Ring, circa 1880s
About the Item
Four old cut diamonds surround an old cut ruby in this Victorian ring. The diamonds are 0.15 carat each, matching the 0.15 carat ruby. The diamonds total to 0.60 carat, and are G colour and VS clarity. They are all old cushion cuts, and would have been cut by hand at the time. The gems are held within open framework claw settings in the 18 carat gold ring. This is a lovely Victorian ring dating to the 1880s.
