About the Item
The greatest lightness for this ring conceived by the designer Michel Tortel for QITTERI. The tourmaline is suspended in the air revealing all its coloured faces. A structured, simple and elegant design where the function defines the guiding line.
The 2.51 carat tourmaline, whose green colour evokes the forests in springtime, has a VVS purity. It comes from a deposit in Mozambique. Its emerald size is 16.45 x 4.55 x 3.4 mm.
It is made of 3.97 grams of rhodium-plated 18 karat white gold and its design was conceived to highlight the colour of the stone.
Its design is inspired by architecture and mechanics and is designed to let the light reflect, to allow it to pass through the material. The Tourmaline is suspended, just set at its ends.
A design with pure and iconic lines, all in lightness, allowing the stone to be seen from all sides and thus revealing its play of colour and light.
This model is unique. It can be adjusted for sizes not too far from 54 which is its current size.
This ring can be worn on a daily basis or for parties and cocktails but with care as the suspended stone can be sensitive to shocks and break if it is strongly hit.
Its design and originality will always attract the eye. It will also be a subject of daily contemplation depending on the different lights of the day.
