Sara Gilbane added this breakfast nook to a prewar Fifth Avenue apartment, deploying on a warm and inviting blue and white palette. The Visual Comfort brass pendant stands out against the bright white wall adorned with antique Delft plates. The contemporary custom table complements the vintage Swedish chairs around it.

Reddymade Architecture and Design created this serene master bath in a Tribeca loft. The 1960s vintage Sputnik chandelier adds glamour and a touch of luxury to the contemporary striped marble wall mosaics.

With an eye toward restoring the Sydney, Australia, home to its original glamour, Brendan Wong designed its dining room as a modern, black-and-white space accented by a bold pop of red, with the Neil chandelier adding a funky and unexpected element. The Warren Platner chairs and custom banquette seating harmonize with the Greg Copeland artwork hanging above the table.

The statement chandelier from Roll & Hill commands attention with its simple design of four graduated rings of LED lights. The Baker Furniture Company chairs tie together the room’s soft hues.

A crystal Bisazza chandelier outfitted with jet black shades embodies Sasha Bikoff’s contemporary-meets-traditional aesthetic. For this project at New York City’s famed Dakota apartment building, the designer used jade green Ralph Lauren velvet to outfit a pair of antique armchairs, as well as leopard upholstery on two Tommi Parzinger stools.

Timothy Corrigan sought to marry “French elegance with American comfort” in this 19th-century Paris apartment, by using slightly over-scaled furniture. The antique chandelier, which was purchased at Christie’s, is reflected in both the mirror above the fireplace, and the trompe l’oeil internal window above the sofa. The large Hubert Robert paintings, affixed to a pair of doors, come from Corrigan’s own storefront.

Maddux Creative commissioned Marc ce Berny to produce a series of three chandeliers for this home, a family residence in London’s Notting Hill neighborhood. The metal-and-plaster fixture features flower-like light cups, connected with gilded orbs. The room’s sofas are by Vladimir Kagan, and the silk draperies were inspired by an Alber Elbaz for Lanvin design.
