Breathtaking 1920's metallic-gold lame flapper evening headpiece. This is, without a doubt, the most extraordinary antique headpiece I have ever laid eyes on. Prong-studded with tons of sparkling rhinestones in the most amazing art-deco design. Worn over the head with a criss-cross rhinestone band so it stays securely on while you dance the night away. I adore the hand-beaded sides and crown-top detailing. Headpieces were very popular in the 1920's and where the crowning jewel for any flapper. This treasure has a nice opulent weight to it and these are very hard to find in such wonderful condition as this one is in. Museum quality!
This headpiece will fit a range of sizes from 22 to 23 inches around. In Excellent condition for a piece this delicate. If you fine-tooth-comb, you will find a few thread ends. Over 80 years old and truly stunning.
