Fabulous 1920's Black Silk Velvet Coat- Black Fur Collar & Trim

This is a fabulous 1920's black silk velvet coat with a full black fur collar and trim and a one button closure low on the left hip. The coat is beautifully cut with a long dropped waist line and a slightly flared skirt. The lining is black and champange-colored charmeuse and is in excellent condition with the exception of a slight fraying of the fabric in the right sleeve area. The black fur is coarse and long with strands of gray in it. The fur collar frames the face and neckline dramatically and the same fur accentuates each sleeve forming a spiral pattern. This exquisite coat is in excellent vintage condition and would comfortably accommodate a Size 2/4/6 figure type.
