1910's Sage-Green & Golden Silk Chiffon Asymmetric Draped Gown

The stunning sage-green and golden-yellow color combination used in this 1910's Edwardian silk-chiffon gown has a fresh innocence that I find irresistible. The bodice is a low-cut plunge sweetheart shelf-bust met by a silk-satin cummerbund. I love the sparkling rhinestone-buckle detail! The piece work to create the draped skirting in particular is extraordinary; it skims the body and creates a beautiful hourglass look. The stylized charm of the layered design personify the feminine ideal in clothing. It is amazing that a dress with this amount of detail and presence can literally feel almost weightless but it does. So romance and rare!
