Pair of Le Rosey Old Paris Hand Painted Cachepots /Centerpieces
About the Item
Decorate your table or sideboard with this pair of elegant Old Paris footed centerpieces/cachepots and add the right touch of color. With a wonderful low profile, these would look lovely filled with flowers or plants and still allow conversation without blocking the view. Each one is hand painted with a floral motif, feather-style handles and embellished with parcel gilt decoration. The sides opposite the applied handles are decorated with raised medallions of hand painted botanical reserves. With pierced borders, they have all the bells and whistles without being overdone. Retailed by "Le Rosey" the Tiffany's of Paris in the 19th century, this pair was always considered an elegant find.
