Marguerite Wildenhain - Pond Farm, Round Bowl

Rare bowl by the famous Bauhaus educated potter Marguerite Friedlander Wildenhain. Made in Holland during her 7 years in Putten, Holland (1933-1940) before immigrating to the United States and setting up her pond farm pottery.

A lovely bowl with handles from Bo Fajans in the 1930s. The bowl is 28 cm in diameter and about 10 cm high. It is in mint condition and marked with the Bo Fajans mark below.

A beautiful art pottery bowl with pale exterior and bright blue interior. Rich creamy outside glaze with exterior Sgraffito decoration. Created by Bauhaus trained German potter and sculptor Frans Wildenhein (1905-1980). Husband of well known potter Marguerite Wildenhain. Most likely created while Frans was at Pond Farm...
