Monumental Pair of Cenedese Murano Glass Candle Holders

Unusually large scale pair of Gino Cenedese candle stick holders with scarce double technique of Scavo surface and Sommerso coloring. Gorgeous corroded surface, creating the illusion of rock crystal. These are solid glass and very heavy, with one stick being a hair shorter than the other, attesting to the natural irregularities in these hand made pieces. Sommerso color is a bright glowing turquoise blue. These have a rare double mark on the bottom- the hand etched "Cenedese" signature and the surviving paper labels on both. True statement pieces, and absolutely spectacular in person.
