1950s Ebonized Carved Cat with Yarn

This hand carved cat has the sweetest home spun quality. It reminds me of the homespun things my grandfather used to make when I was young. He would come home from work, eat dinner then go to his garage where he made this out of that. Somewhere out there in the world are the inlaid tables he made from cross sections of baseball bats. If anyone has one that is signed George Evans, give me shout !
