This swan has been hand made by a quite famous wood carver of decoys , in the state of Virginia. he makes pieces for the American Folk Art Museum in New York and we have have been fortunate enough to ask him to make pieces for us. This piece is waxed and distressed and has a warm ivory color. he sits flat on a table, buffet etch and is a stunning piece of folk art.
