A unique and sculptural Italian 1970s table lamp in chrome with custom shade. The base consists of a wide cut out "S" shape band of chrome wrapped around two balls stacked one on top of the other on a central rod. All resting on a round chrome base. A statement piece of Italian modern design, circa 1970. This table lamp is a sculpture in glass, metal and light in table lamp form. The large shade is handblown Murano glass in pale grey. It rests securely atop a charcoal grey black textured enamel metal column and has a large polished chrome dish cover with hole. A beautiful example of Italian modern design from the 1970s.
