Large Water Gilt Austrian Rococo Style Mirror with Winged Lion, circa 1900
About the Item
Large Rococo Revival or Second Empire style mirror from France, circa 1880. Expertly handcrafted and in great condition. Hand carved mirror accompanied by water gilt accents on plaster. Incorporates several of the characteristic motifs of the style- lions, oak leaf laurels. A magnificent piece of furniture. The mirror appears to be newer than the frame.
