Monumental Hand-Carved and Hand-Painted Round Mirror from France, circa 1850.

About the Item

Magnificent over-painted charcoal and gold large circular mirror from France, circa 1850. Replaced original glass with different antique glass. Beautifully carved detail, hand-finished joinery with a neoclassical motif. Sunburst with floral swags and gold carved rosettes on the sides. Signed in pencil by the craftsman on the back/inside of the mirror. Paint appears teal in photos but is charcoal grey.
