A rare and stylish leather cigar humidor by Paul Dupré Lafon (1900 - 1971) for Hermès, the wooden base section and top entirely covered in handstitched leather, the interior in Spanish cedar complete with new/modern hygrometer and humidifier fitted, signed HERMES PARIS to the underside.
Note: Paul Dupré Lafon (1900 - 1971)was an architect and furniture designer who from 1929 through the end of the 1950's collaborated with the luxury house Hermès to produce a wide range of items for the office and home, all embellished with leather supplied by Hermès. Dupré-Lafon had a keen affinity for both practicality and luxury - his designs are modern and functional yet at the same time sleek and luxurious.
