Adrian Pearsall Style Sofa by Danielson-Hanson
Recent estate fresh find is this large, 96" long sofa in the style of Adrian Pearsall, dating to 1960.
Removed from a large home in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, this sofa is well made with the traditional steel squiggle strapping, hardwood frame and elegant, unblemished legs in a teak finished oak with original glides intact.
Fabric is original and in need of recovering. No structural damage.
Cushion fill is soft and supple, but fabric is showing it age, and would benefit from your best recovering effort.
Underneath is stamped the name "Danielson" and "R. Hanson." No information on the designer has been found, but suffice to say, it's a terrific period piece.
