Extraordinary French Polychrome Bookcase or Vaisselier

About the Item

Very rare and stunning piece of furniture. The structure (plinth, columns and cornice) are painted in a marble trompe l'oeil. The cupboard doors are painted in faux-bois. There are carved art deco floral motifs on the lower cupboard doors and the column capitals. Original glass panes. Unique piece that was made for a grand Parisian home.
