French Plum Pudding Mahogany & Gilt Brass Mount Bibliotheque, c. mid 1800's. The moulded rectlinear cornice surmount by two gilt brass flame finials over a raised and recessed panel frieze out set over two rectilinear beveled glass doors forming a split dome shaped glass panel over an outset raised and recessed panel apron drawer raised on tapered columns with brass points surmounted by reeded tapered turned columns. The sides with a raised and recessed plum pudding panel enhanced with pearl stringing. The whole with gilt brass egg & dart, leaf & berry garland, wreath, vine, ribbon, pearl, foliate and cartouche motifs.
