This antique crotch mahogany wood veneered chest has a beautiful and subtly bowed front, flanked within a pair of round fluted side posts adorn with acanthus leaf wraps at bottom and flower-head accents at their top. The case houses five dovetailed drawers; three smaller drawers set horizontally above two full sized drawers. This piece is presented upon four blunt arrow carved feet.
