"The Italian designer aimed to confuse the boundaries between art and design, imagining pieces that could as well be defined as furniture and as sculpture. His poetic creations often mock the contemporary society and its consumer pressures. He therefore raises irony and grotesque as aesthetic and creative concepts. The 'apartment sculptor' believes that true beauty 'is the one that attracts and agitates but also makes people laugh and of which we can make fun of'."
