Very attractive large American stretcher-base farm table with a medial stretcher. The table has a two-board poplar top with a beautiful old dark scrubbed surface, original Spanish brown paint on the wooden-pinned base, and tapered legs. Early 19th century, New England. The table is in very good condition, exhibiting only the wear appropriate to its age and usage.
